Time is flying!

Hey all!
It's been a few weeks since I posted. I was attacked by the flu after the NY conference and I've been getting back into the groove the past two weeks. But I'm busy at work on some freelance projects so I'm quite occupied at the moment. I'll try to post some up to date sketches soon of ideas I've been scratching around with, but for now its back to the drawing board for me!

Here's a pile of sketches I've been working on for one of my latest freelance gigs. I'll only say it involves a tree... More to come!

Illustration Friday: Tree

Hey all
I've been bad about my IF posts the last month or so. I am currently working on new picture book project though staring my precocious badgers, Tic and Tac so I decided to do some practice sketches of them based on recent IF topics. I've done a couple for this week's "tree" theme as well as the catch up entries. Enjoy!

Tea Tree Party

Here is my latest illustration that I created for my portfolio! It's two Fennec foxes having a tea party in a tree. I don't know why but I've always liked the idea of tree houses and sitting up in trees. I never really spent much time in trees, so maybe I feel like I'm missing something for not having tried it enough. In any case it seems like a lovely place for a spot of tea. I liked this image so much, I decided to use it for my latest postcard!

Illustration Friday: Intention

This weeks IF topic Intention has me thinking about the intentions we have when we are young. They may seem small, but at the time they are quite important. So I did a couple of drawings that came to mind with that theme.
