Tug boats on the St. Joseph River (St Joe, and Benton Harbor twin city water way) were always good to watch on a busy river day.
Also the tugs used pushing a large ship in San Diego, CA into a Naval base. Tugs in the New York Harbor???
Another exciting visit was on an USA Naval ship in 1988 in San Diego. As we were guided on this cruise ship, the ship was moored, yet the wind and current could be felt on the top. The large weapons were daunting as were the sailors who maintained the ship. efc
