Illustration Friday: Heights

Hey everyone!
I've been off for a few weeks but I am back to do this week's IF topic "Heights." I am playing around with this weird little world where my animals live and I think I stumbled upon a suburb of their town. What do you think? Is this working? Any suggestions? I'm trying out a new background, so let me know your thoughts!

I think this is great! It looks very nice tree houses, but also the misty around the backtrees. It gives me a question; what will happen next?
Succes!

ps, I'm not sure or I have posted my comment, the internet did funny.
So this can be double!

I like how the sameness of the trees diverts your focus to the houses which all have unique and varied features.. treatment of siding on each level of each house, nice!

Great illustration, really like the colouring. Looks like the start of something you can take further, make into a story and all that!

Lovely illustration! I have always wanted to live in a tree house. I think my dreams would have come true if it wasn't for spiders...Do they climb that high? :)
